The Stealth STH400 Green Metallic Pearl Pool Cue is a Stealth playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 3/8 x10 joint and a 29" Canadian Hard Rock Maple classic wood shaft. It lists at $203, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

The Stealth STH400 Green Metallic Pearl is a playing cue with a metallic green forearm and solid black points. The butt sleeve repeats the green and black points and carries the Stealth logo, while the butt plate is metallic green. In place of a wrap there is a black Dooley handle, which Stealth describes as a patented, ergonomic grip.

The 29-inch Canadian Hard Rock Maple shaft is fitted with a 12mm 5-layer tip on a white Bakelite ferrule, and the joint is a 3/8 x 10 pin with no collar. A 12mm tip is slightly narrower than the common 13mm size.

A weight bolt is fitted and a black bumper closes the butt. Joint protectors are included, and an extension and case are not. Weight options are 18, 19, 20 and 21 oz. Made in the USA.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Stealth STH400 Green Metallic Pearl Pool Cue use?

It uses a 3/8 x10 joint. That means any 3/8 x10 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 3/8 x10 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Stealth STH400 Green Metallic Pearl Pool Cue?

This cue ships with a 29" Canadian Hard Rock Maple shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Stealth STH400 Green Metallic Pearl Pool Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Stealth STH400 Green Metallic Pearl Pool Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Stealth dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Stealth dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
