Description

Sugar Skull graphics set the Stealth STH425 apart: the butt sleeve is metallic black paint with a sugar skull and purple roses. The forearm is metallic black with dark purple points and a silver paisley pattern filling the points. The handle is a metallic black Dooley handle with paisley rings, so this playing cue has no wrap, and the butt plate is metallic black with a purple ring and a silver Stealth decal.

The 29-inch Canadian Hard Rock Maple shaft has a 12mm 5-layer tip, a white Bakelite ferrule and a black collar with a paisley design, and the joint is a 3/8 x 10 pin. The collar picks up the paisley theme from the forearm.

A weight bolt is fitted, the bumper is black, and joint protectors are included; an extension and case are not. Weights offered are 18, 19, 20 and 21 oz. Made in the USA.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.

It uses a 3/8 x10 joint. That means any 3/8 x10 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 3/8 x10 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Stealth STH425 Sugar Skull Pool Cue?
