Description

The Viking Weight Bolt is part of the Viking Precision Weight Bolt System, the stackable weight system that is standard on Viking cues. Bolts come in .5, 1, 1.5 and 2 ounce sizes, and they can be combined to fine tune the balance of your cue.

Each purchase is a single bolt in the size you select. Viking lists these as original Viking parts made in the USA. Because the weights are stackable, a player can start with one size and change it later while looking for the balance that feels right.

Weight & Balance

This cue is offered in .5 oz, 1 oz, 1.5 oz, 2 oz. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.
