Is 12.25mm mostly full carbon fiber cues at Quarter King?

Yes, Bull Carbon's all-carbon-fiber cues make up nearly half of our 12.25mm stock, with Scorpion, Elite, Fury, and Meucci filling out the rest.

Does a thinner shaft like 12.25mm have a smaller sweet spot?

Some players on AZBilliards forums describe very thin shafts as rewarding a clean, straight stroke more than a thicker, more forgiving shaft would.

Why would a cue be built entirely in carbon fiber instead of just the shaft?

Building the whole cue in carbon fiber lets the maker control stiffness and weight distribution more precisely than pairing a thin wood shaft with a separate wood butt.

Can I get a 12.25mm carbon fiber shaft without buying a full new cue?

Yes, Meucci's Carbon Fiber Pro Shaft is available standalone for players upgrading an existing cue, subject to joint compatibility.

12.25mm

12.25mm is one of our thinnest shaft diameters, dominated by full carbon fiber cue construction rather than a wood shaft on a traditional butt. We stock 15 cues at 12.25mm, priced from about $70 to about $1,080.
