Sniper Tip by Tiger
- 8 layers of boar skin
- Layers are tanned the “old fashioned way”, underground. Then treated in their factory before being laminated together by the Vacculam process, and then finally put through the Advanced Pressurized Process. The results is a tip that holds chalk well, and will not mushroom.

I couldn’t be more happy with the Tiger Sniper tip. I noticed immediately more English on the pool cue ball. I loved me Tiger Everest tip I had on there before and decided to try another Tiger purchase. I love them both and would suggest either one. The Tiger Sniper has a noticeably softer tip than the Everest. I would recommend and buy either one again.

So i have used a varity of tips before kamui le pro elk master and a few others personally this is by far my favorite tip it lasts like a medium plays like a soft and some of the superior ball control you can get in my personal opinion but in the end pool all comes down to how you like to play but this is definitely one i would highly vouch for after my first one i ended up putting one on all my play cues and my gf’s stick i got her the tip changes pooldawg does are flawless but if you already have the cue you can go to your local pool repair place or do it yourself theres lot of places you can learn how its not to hard but i would recommend using cheap tips to try and figure it out first these are extremely good tips and a cheaper alternative to using a kamui.

Always on a timely fashion being delivered to my home but doesn’t mean I wasn’t still waiting with anticipation as anything I order from pooldawg I’ve received my sniper tip it’s not the first time I’ve tried this product but it is the tip I enjoy using the most because not and I don’t want to jinx myself and saying this but not once do I miss cue stick holds the chalk well and gives great action to the cue ball. Took a leap of faith
I’ve always been a LePro perosn because every time I’ve ever ordered a layered tip, such as an UltraSkin, that is x<$15, I’ve always been disappointed. The strike of every tip that is layered that I’ve ever tried has felt spongy and not a pleasant solid feel like a LePro. But also, because the LePro tends to harden quickly due to playing and compression, I kept looking. I say that the new Cutech cue that’s carbon, the one Shane VB uses, had the Tiger Sniper. I listened to many videos of him play, yes listen, to try to figure how robust of a strike it gives. After many videos of hearing it sound like a LePro, a good well-built sounding hit, but also giving the spin of a Medium, which this tip is, I ordered. The bottom of the tip is made of a different material than the tip which allows it to glue on much better, sand easier for gluing, and possibly, but I can’t back this hypothesis up, a better feeling hit due to the transfer of energy from this tip through the softer “pad”. After playing one round, you feel that it will stay the same hardness while allowing A LOt of spin, with quality form, and rarely miscues, compared to LePros. It’s just a dynamite tip and although it’s pricey, it’s less than a Kamui, in value, it’s amazing. I haven’t tried a Kamui, but right now, I have no plans on switching since I’ve found the premier tip I’ve ever played with

I have to say, i only play one night a week in league, but the two matches I’ve played with the Tiger Sniper tip have given me more confidence in my ability. I can execute all my shots with less effort because this tip is so effective. I can see more of my opponents going down while playing with this tip!

I needed something harder in a tip and found that your chart on cue stick tip hardness by manufacturer came in quite handy. The sniper did the trick from the standard tip of the Revo which I found too soft.
