The new VAL29 pool cue from Action’s signature Value line makes us red with envy. A beautiful red stained maple cue whose accents are only the black, silver and blue rings displayed at the top of the forearm, two sandwiching the no wrap section and one right at the butt cap. Simple yet elegant. And the new style of rings that Action has on this cue are so unique and different that it really compliments the red stained maple.
As with all Action pool cues, there is a 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty.

I’m Getting There

There seems to be a mere difference in strokes (within the first 6-8 inches of the shaft) with the old stick vs the new cue. This caused me to sit the new cue aside because my shooting fell off which caused me to question whether this was a decent move in purchasing the new stick. However, I wanted and desperately needed a new pool cue. I decided to rotate cues every other game of 8-ball. Then bingo! After a few days I realized the old pool cue wasn’t getting much action. Since the switch,my game has picked back up and I’m just ecstatic over this VAL29. Had I resurfaced my table before I put the new cue to use,I would have rated 5 stars. But I’m getting there…

First new Cue stick

From my perspective, the Action VAL29 pool cue is the first brand new stick I’ve ever bought. I just recently acquired a used pool table and it came with a bunch of stick sticks. For a Christmas present to myself I wanted a new stick. I didn’t want to break my bank to get one so I chose the Action VAL29. It seems amazing. It is straight and so fluid. I just love it.
