    Jacoby ultra pro

    Solid, consistent

    Durable, low deflection. Hits and feels superb. On the pricier side but definitely priced right it. Ordered it with a kamui clear ss but for some reason the stock tip was attached (still felt pretty alright) and the kamui tip was packaged separately. Other than that, everything’s outstanding

    Jacoby Ultra Pro shaft

    All I can say is WOW ! What a amazing hitting shaft. I am so glad that I bought this shaft and have since sold both carbon fiber shafts that I had purchased abut a year ago. No more carbon for me until the technology and contact is better.

    Good shaft

    i’ve been playing with a Predator 314 pre-cat and cat versions for 20+ years. I tested the Jacoby Ultra Pro against them today on my new cloth. Pre-cat 314 has a new Triangle, Cat 314 has an older triangle (half worn). Jacoby has stock Everest tip. All shaped to dime radius. All played with the same Schon butt. The Jacoby had a really familiar firm feel with a softer hit. I was able to generate more action with less effort using the 314s, but the Jacoby still provided more than enough spin. It’s the difference of maybe one diamond of draw on a full table shot, using medium force and silky stroke. The Jacoby had a more comfortable taper (2-3 inches longer pro taper) and lighter overall weight. I like the feel of the lighter weight. But, the lighter weight or weaker taper may reduce the amount of spin I’m able to generate. The Jacoby has a nice dampened feel when shooting down on the stick ball, such as when bridging over another object ball or off the rail. There’s no wobbly feeling like there is with some cues, such as Meucci. Nice shaft. Will probably keep it. Need to evaluate it more and maybe change the tip. 4 stars. Minus one for lower English and high price point.

    It’s a really well-built shaft.

    I must admit, i’ve tried a few different high end low deflection shafts, but the Jacoby Ultra Pro is the most solid and consistent shaft I have used.

    Jacoby Ultra Pro

    First impressions of Jacoby ultra pro shaft for my Schon are truly positive. Major improvement over stock Schon shaft. First time dealing with Pool Dawg and they were great. Ordered shaft on Wednesday and it showed up in Washington state on Friday afternoon!

    Worth every penny

    I have to say, the Jacoby shaft is impressive. Quite high quality finish. It matches up well to a Schon butt, fitting as effectively as the factory shaft. The strike is truly controllable and offers noticeably less deflection. I am very satisfied with it, and only deducted 1 star, because I wish it was offered in a 12.5. I am considering having Jacoby turn it down.

    First, Pooldawg is so incredible

    To be frank, first, Pooldawg is so stellar to deal with. It was so easy and such fast delivery. Second,,The shaft plays amazing, it really hits wonderful, gives a better balance on my cue than a CF shaft. Staying with the wood for now on. Thanks Pooldawg 👍👍 Very pleased.

    I have been using the

    I have been using the ultra pro jacoby shaft for about a month. It is s superb shaft. I really like how it has improved my game. I put it on my meucci butt cue and it has worked out wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to get better. Also Pooldawg has fantastic customer service.

    pocket speed Baby

    If your a pocket speed player predominately this is about the best somewhat normally constructed wood shaft you can get in my opinion ( my opinion doesn’t amount to much )

    Jacoby ultra pro is the best wood shaft there is in my opinion. I had hybrid edge by Jacoby before for another but ultra is even more precise. Pooldawg service is always amazing and definitely order again and suggest family and friends to the site.

    AWESOME in every aspect except

    Stellar in every aspect except once tightened onto the Meucci butt it left a small lip, not flush. A bit disappointing considering the value of the shaft.
