Description

The ACTBJ05 is Action’s take on a purpose-built break cue rather than an all-around playing stick. The ACTBJ05 is spec’d with an Action quick-release joint, a 13mm classic wood shaft, a wrapless handle, and a silver finish.

Keeping a separate break cue like this protects the tip and ferrule of a main playing cue from repeated hard contact. Since it’s not meant for finesse shots, it shouldn’t be judged against a premium playing cue’s feel. Expect to pay about $250 for the ACTBJ05, which is currently in stock and ready to go. The ACTBJ05 doesn’t ask buyers to learn a new spec, it follows Action’s usual sizing throughout the build.

It uses a Action Quick Release joint. That means any Action Quick Release shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Action Quick Release before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Action ACTBJ05 Break Cue?
