Description
The JR01 is a junior cue from Action, 52 inches long and sized down for younger or smaller players. It is black-stained maple through the forearm and butt sleeve, with a black composite collar, a black and white nylon wrap, and a black butt plate carrying a silver Action logo.
The shaft is 26 inch hard rock maple with a 10 to 12 inch pro taper, topped with a 12mm layered proprietary boar skin tip over a 1 inch fiber linen ferrule. A 5/16×18 pin joins the two pieces and an Action plug bumper protects the butt.
A shorter cue with a 12mm tip is easier for a young player to handle than a full-size cue with a standard tip, but once a player reaches adult height a standard-length cue is the more practical choice. The JR01 carries a limited warranty and comes without an extension, case or joint protectors.

Outstanding gift for kids who play pool!
In my experience, customized this for my nephew who’s 11 and he absolutely loved it. Wish the font/engraving was darker or more bold but it was still legible!

52” Pool cue
I recently installed a pool table and found I needed a shorter pool cue for some shots and ordered one on Pooldawg. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase!

Good short cue
This is a decent short cue. It’s straight, and has the right weight. Can’t complain.

Great Service
Truthfully, i ordered and received purchase confirmation of this cue for my grandson. I was later informed that it was sold out. Instead of simply canceling the order, Pooldawg upgraded my purchase to a higher priced cue at the same price as the JR01. Very impressed with Pooldawg’s service as well as its products.

Pool Dawg that says it all
One could spend a whole lot more money on a cool stick end. Of course, if you have that kind of money to spend, that’s outstanding. But if you want a really good Tuesday for a cost that about everyone in the world can afford and have a quality stick, then the one I bought. It’s all you’re ever gonna need. And anything else you’re ever gonna need? All you have to do is get a hold of the guys that Pool Dawg. Enough said Ed
