Description
Blue stained maple forms the forearm and butt sleeve of the Athena ATH49, framed by teal, black and white points that encase white roses. The wrap is black linen, the butt plate is black composite with a silver Athena logo, and the bumper is black rubber with a hole for the extension.
This playing cue has a 28 1/2 inch hard rock maple shaft with a 10 to 12 inch pro taper. The tip measures 12.5mm and is a seven-layer vacuum sealed boar skin, backed by a 1 inch fiber linen ferrule. The 5/16×18 piloted joint has a stainless steel collar with black and silver accents.
Five weights are available, from 17 to 21 oz, and the weight is changeable through the weight bolt. An extension is included. A case and joint protectors are not, and the cue has a limited one year manufacturer warranty. Choosing a weight is a matter of feel, with lighter cues quicker and heavier ones steadier.

Its a great pool stick i really like the color! The premier part is the extension that comes with it! I didnt know it came with it until i opened my package! It shoots well and just the perfect height for me because im short. I would definitely suggest this pool stick to anyone looking to get one! It wont disappoint you!

I’m really enjoying my Athena Cue stick. As a small woman, the shorter length helps. Pool Dawg did a great job in switching the tip & getting the pool cue to me quickly. But, they sent a heavier weight cue stick than I ordered without checking with me. Still, this cue is a quality one for the cost

Vey pleasant pool cue stick for the price point, should have opted for a softer tip, but I was able to soften the tip that came with the stick. The extension is a superb feature, also.

For the value it’s a steal
To be frank, i’ve owned this Athena cue stick for 3+ years. I replaced the original tip for a softer one, feeling the softer one gives me a better feel & control. Not only is this cue functional & reliable it is really a beautifully decorated cue. The extension is so quite useful, but it does take practice to feel comfortable. Can’t go wrong.
