Description

Green gives the K2 KLB13 its character: a vibrant green K2 logo on a matte black maple cue, surrounded by black and green stripes on the butt sleeve. As a 57 inch Sport low deflection pool cue, it suits players who want to stand out without moving away from black.

Between the Uni-Loc quick-release joint and the tip sits a 29 inch K2 low-deflection maple shaft with True Path Technology, which supports control and cue ball accuracy. The 12.5 mm Tiger Everest tip is the standard size, with 11.75 mm offered as well. The handle is covered in black double pressed Irish linen, matched by a 10 mm matte black collar and black Implex butt cap, and a compression bumper completes the cue.

Black and green are the colours, and the contrast is strongest around the logo. Pick an 18, 19, 20 or 21 oz weight at checkout. A 10 year warranty includes warpage. The matte black collar and butt cap keep the rest of the cue quiet.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the K2 KLB13 Low Deflection Pool Cue use?

It uses a Uni-Loc joint. That means any Uni-Loc shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Uni-Loc before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the K2 KLB13 Low Deflection Pool Cue?

This cue ships with a 11.75mm, 12.50mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The K2 KLB13 Low Deflection Pool Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the K2 KLB13 Low Deflection Pool Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is linen wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized K2 dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized K2 dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
