Description
Orange stained maple wraps the forearm and butt sleeve of the KAT2501, each section set off by triple brass rings that give the cue some visual snap without going overboard. Black Irish linen covers the wrap for grip that holds up over long sessions, and the Uni-Loc joint connects a black collar to a stainless steel pin for a tight, repeatable fit. A stainless steel butt plate etched with the Katana logo caps the butt, and the rubber bumper is threaded to accept an extension. Weight sits at 1.4 lb, adjustable through the weight bolt as your stroke evolves.
The 29 inch shaft runs a European taper over a carbon core maple shaft, so you get the familiar feedback of maple through the bridge while the core adds stiffness that helps the shaft resist warping. A 12.7mm layered black tip caps it off. The cue includes joint protectors but no case. A limited manufacturer warranty covers the KAT2501.
