Description
KAT2504 balances out at 1.4 lb, with the weight bolt on hand if you want to nudge that up or down as your game changes. Red stained maple, laminated and set off by triple brass rings, covers the forearm and butt sleeve, and black Irish linen wraps the grip in between. The joint pairs a black collar with a stainless steel pin in a Uni-Loc fitting, while a stainless steel butt plate etched with the Katana logo caps things off. The bumper is threaded and ready for an extension whenever you need the extra reach.
For the shaft, Katana went with a carbon core maple shaft rather than full carbon fiber: 29 inches, European taper, 12.7mm layered black tip, so the hit stays traditional while the carbon rod inside adds stiffness and helps the shaft hold its straightness over time. A set of joint protectors ships with the KAT2504, though a case is not part of it. It’s covered by a limited manufacturer warranty and made in China.
