Description
Sunburst stained maple graduates across the forearm and butt sleeve of the KAT2506, framed by triple brass rings that mark the transitions cleanly. Black Irish linen wraps the grip, and the Uni-Loc joint brings together a black collar and a stainless steel pin for a fit that locks in the same way every time you screw the cue together. A stainless steel butt plate etched with the Katana logo sits at the base, and the rubber bumper is threaded for an extension. It weighs 1.4 lb, with a weight bolt for fine tuning.
The 29 inch shaft is where the KAT2506 shows its hand: a carbon core maple shaft, not full carbon fiber, cut to a European taper that keeps the profile slim through the bridge and, thanks to the core, keeps that taper straighter over the long run than plain maple tends to. A 12.7mm layered black tip finishes the hit. You get joint protectors but no case, and a limited manufacturer warranty covers the cue.
