Description
Pink stained maple laminates the forearm and butt sleeve of the KAT2507, each one broken up by triple brass rings and finished below with a black Irish linen wrap. The joint is Uni-Loc, a black collar mated to a stainless steel pin, and the handle ends in a stainless steel butt plate etched with the Katana logo. A threaded rubber bumper is ready to take an extension, and the cue weighs 1.4 lb with a weight bolt for adjusting the balance.
Take the KAT2507 from an air-conditioned room to a garage table or a car trunk in summer and the 29-inch carbon fiber shaft won’t react the way a maple shaft does. Carbon fiber doesn’t take on moisture or dry out with the seasons, so the taper you broke in stays the taper you’re playing on regardless of where the cue has been stored. It’s cut to a 7-12 pro taper, carries its own etched Katana logo, and finishes with a 12.5mm layered tip. Joint protectors come as standard.
