What joint does the Katana JPKAT Joint Protector Set use?
It uses a Uni-Loc joint. That means any Uni-Loc shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Uni-Loc before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

Its been a few weeks since purchase and I also purchased the katana carrying case and let me tell you the chrome protectors make the katana bag and cues stand out extremely pleasant.
