Description
The Koda KD33 pool cue takes a restrained route: onyx-stained maple for the forearm and butt sleeve, a black linen wrap and a black Implex butt cap. It is a dark playing cue for players who prefer an all-black look and a linen grip, built on a 3/8 x 10 joint.
At the playing end sits a 12.5 mm Le Pro tip on a 29-inch hard rock maple shaft, with a 10 mm glossy black collar. Joining shaft and butt is a 3/8 x 10 joint. The wrap section is black double pressed Irish linen, and the cue ends with a compression bumper. Nothing in the build is there for show, which suits players who prefer a quiet cue.
With an onyx stain and a black wrap, the cue reads as black overall, with no bright accents to distract from the shot. Four weights, 18 to 21 oz, are on offer at checkout. Koda’s 10-year warranty includes warpage, which is useful on a cue you plan to keep.
