The Lucasi Hybrid Rival LHRV21 Cue is a Lucasi playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a Radial joint and a 11.75mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $657, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Rival is a separate sub-line within Lucasi’s Hybrid family, and the joint is the giveaway, the LHRV21 uses a Radial joint instead of the Uni-Loc found on every other cue in this batch, a different connection system with its own feel at impact. The shaft is 11.75mm Classic Wood, on the narrower end, wrapped in Lucasi’s Sport Wrap and finished in blue and black. Players who have used both joint systems often say Radial joints transmit a slightly firmer hit than Uni-Loc, though preference here comes down to feel more than performance. At about $660, in stock and ready to ship.

Weight & Balance

This cue is offered in WBLUC, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Lucasi Hybrid Rival LHRV21 Cue use?

It uses a Radial joint. That means any Radial shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Radial before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Lucasi Hybrid Rival LHRV21 Cue?

This cue ships with a 11.75mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Lucasi Hybrid Rival LHRV21 Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Lucasi Hybrid Rival LHRV21 Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is sport wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Lucasi dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Lucasi dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay. Because this one is over $600, a 10% restocking fee applies to the return.
