Description

The Pechauer JP25R02 is a Pro Series playing cue with a wine-stained figured maple forearm and points framed in simulated ebony. The butt sleeve is natural figured maple, there is no wrap, and a black Juma collar and a black butt plate with the Pechauer logo set off the wine and maple tones.

It uses a piloted Pechauer Speed Joint, a design that adds a pilot section to help keep shaft and butt aligned. The shaft is 29-inch hard rock maple with a 10-12 inch Pro Taper, the tip is a 12.75mm Pechauer Jade Medium, the ferrule is 5/8 inch Juma, and a black rubber bumper protects the butt.

Pechauer says its Pro Series cues are hand signed by Joseph Pechauer, and its standard weight for this model is 19 oz. The weight bolt (type WBPEC) is changeable. The cue is made in the USA with a lifetime warranty, and no extension, case or joint protectors are included. Pechauer’s own model name for it is P02-R.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke.
