Description

Blue defines the Stealth STH501 Aluminum Series, a playing cue with a blue forearm and a blue aluminum butt sleeve cut with circular openings. Black Irish linen covers the grip, a traditional wrap material with a slightly textured, absorbent feel, and a black collar sits at the joint.

The shaft is 29-inch Canadian maple with a 12.5mm layered leather tip and a white ferrule, joined through a 3/8 x 10 pin. At 12.5mm the tip is slightly slimmer than the common 13mm size. The blue forearm and sleeve stand out against the black collar and linen wrap.

A black rubber bumper finishes the butt. There is no weight bolt, so the weight is fixed, and the cue comes with a set of joint protectors but no extension or case. Made in China with a limited warranty.

Weight & Balance

This cue is offered in No, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Stealth STH501 Aluminum Series Cue use?

It uses a 3/8x10 joint. That means any 3/8x10 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 3/8x10 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Stealth STH501 Aluminum Series Cue?

This cue ships with a 12.50mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Stealth STH501 Aluminum Series Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Stealth STH501 Aluminum Series Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

Is Quarter King an authorized Stealth dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Stealth dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.

Compatible Shafts

This cue uses a 3/8X10 joint, so these shafts thread straight onto it. Not sure? Send us the cue and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
