I like the feel and weight of the cue, truly nicely balanced, and the red marbling is extremely cool to look at. I purchased two, and both are straight and smooth. With only 52″ from the wall to playing surface, this is the cue stick to have for tighter playing areas.

Great Pool cue for Tight Spaces
This is a superb cue stick for people who have a pool table with some tight spaces. It allows me to get a full stroke when the ball is up against the rail and my normal cue stick is hitting a wall on my backswing. But what really sets this apart from other short cues is that Pool Dawg gives you the option to upgrade the tip. So I can have a short pool cue with the same high quality tip as my main pool cue which is really nice when hitting off a rail since it is so easy to miscue with a bad tip.

From my perspective, bought for a beginning young player. Pool cue was reasonably straight. Decent joint and finish. Tip medium hard. Nice weight for a younger player at 17oz I think it is going to work out fine. Super quick ship. Wonderful packaging.
