Personally, I think that less is more when it comes to the style of a cue. To that end, we have this minimal and yet incredibly sleek Action cue. The silver rings wrapped around this sleek encircle four thin bands of bright turquoise and dark green overlays. All of that comes together to create a fine cue fit for any gentleman’s game and at a great price to boot. This cue is every bit as performance oriented as it is stylish and as with all Action cues this one comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
I’m pretty new to enthusiastic pool play. That being said, I’ve used my friend’s pool cue stick who’s spent a lot of time tuning and honing his cue stick that he lets me use before I got this Action VAL24. This Action VAL24 feels nearly identical in the hands. It’s truly well balanced. It’s as consistent as his Lucky (unsure what model) cue that’s been tuned. Aside from the tip being really hard and not providing a lot of give for english on the ball, this Action VAL24 is incredibly durable. Along with that, tasteful decor, classy yet stylish stain with some bling in the form of gold trim. Not over the top, but just enough to show some confidence, which I’ve definitely gotten with this cue stick.

I recently got really interested into pool. I knew how to play or at least the basics but now I decided to start learning to become at least a little better than average. Even though I don’t know much, I think this cue stick has been one of the best investments I’ve made. First of all, it is f…ing beautiful, it feels amazing to play with it, and it makes me feel like I’m actually learning. Friends and acquaintances have admired it a lot and it’s amazing. Weight & Balance
This cue is offered in WBACT, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.
This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.
It uses a 5/16X18 joint. That means any 5/16X18 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.
What shaft diameter is the Action VAL24 Value Cue?
This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.
Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?
The Action VAL24 Value Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.
What is the Action VAL24 Value Cue built for?
It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.
What kind of grip does it have?
The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.
