Out of stock

The Action ABK07 Blue Sport Break Cue is a Action break cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a Inox Quick Release joint and a 14.00mm classic wood shaft. It lists at $224, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

The ABK07 is built as a break/jump cue in Action’s lineup, separate from its playing-cue series. Action built the ABK07 around an Inox quick-release joint, a 14mm classic wood shaft, a sport wrap grip, and a blue and black finish.

League and tournament players often carry a cue like this specifically so their playing cue never takes a break shot. It’s a cheap insurance policy against cracking a nicer cue’s ferrule on a hard break. The ABK07 is currently out of stock, so check back for restock timing before planning a purchase around it. The ABK07 is one entry in a catalog where Action reuses the same handful of joints and shafts across many names.

    Perfect Introductory Break Pool cue

This is a wonderful pool cue for your first or intermediate break cue. It’s heavy enough to keep you lined up but not so heavy that you can’t get it moving. The rubber grip is nice. The tip is hard, but not so hard that you miscue. Looks awesome, love the colors. Wonderful break cue stick for the price.

Weight & Balance

This cue is offered in No, WBACT. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Action ABK07 Blue Sport Break Cue use?

It uses a Inox Quick Release joint. That means any Inox Quick Release shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Inox Quick Release before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Action ABK07 Blue Sport Break Cue?

This cue ships with a 14.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Action ABK07 Blue Sport Break Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Action ABK07 Blue Sport Break Cue built for?

It is set up as a break cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is sport wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Action dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Action dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
