The Action Exotic Acacia Joint Protector — Male Only is a Action pool cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It comes in a choice of 3/8X10, 5/16X14 or 5/16X18 joints. It is in stock at $16, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.
Acacia has the kind of wild, ropey grain you normally pay custom-cue money to see — golden browns running into near-black streaks, and no two sets alike. This is the male-only protector, so it caps the shaft end and shields the collar and threads while your cue sits in the case. Turned from solid exotic hardwood rather than moulded plastic, it threads on cleanly and stays put. Pick the pin that matches your cue: 3/8×10, 5/16×14 or 5/16×18.

It uses a 3/8X10, 5/16X14, 5/16X18 joint. That means any 3/8X10, 5/16X14, 5/16X18 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 3/8X10, 5/16X14, 5/16X18 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.
