Description
The JR08 is a 52 inch Action junior cue in black-stained hard rock maple with a navy swirl on the forearm and the butt sleeve, plus a single silver ring on the sleeve. The collar is black composite, the wrap is black and white, and the butt plate is black with a silver Action logo.
The shaft is 26 inch hard rock maple with a 10 to 12 inch pro taper, tipped with a 12mm layered proprietary boar skin tip and a 1 inch fiber linen ferrule. A 5/16×18 pin forms the joint, and an Action plug bumper closes the butt.
The JR08 is sized for younger or smaller players, and the 12mm tip is narrower than the tip on most full-size playing cues. It carries a limited warranty, and an extension, case and joint protectors are not part of the package.

Nice stick
I have to say, it’s my kids cue stick so I can’t really say anything about it’s performance but he loves it. It fits him very well and has a sweet looking blue to it.

Really Nice Cue, Especially for the Money!
I was a little skeptical about a 52″ cue stick but with space to shoot at a premium I had to try this one and for the price point this cue is solid, straight, and has a good pro grade tip on it to start with. You can’t really ask more from a cue stick than that but this one also has a pretty cool look to it to go with the quality. I would suggest this pool cue to anyone looking for something that has the make of a professional cue stick without the professional price.

Action JR08 52 Inch Junior Pool Cue
To be frank, bought this cue stick for my 12 year old nephew who is starting to take a real liking to playing pool at the YMCA. He is actually pretty good for a beginner, and I suggested he get his own stick. He was so excited and chose this model for his first cue stick ever. We even got initials engraved and a soft tip and he can’t stop talking about it! It has definitely sparked more interest in the game. As a big 9-ball fanatic myself, it almost brought tears to my eyes, thinking about all the money I’m going to take from him when he’s older and thinks he can beat me! Great pool cue! 🙂

Honestly, love the look, feel, construction make, and weight of this cue stick. Compares favorably to cues twice the price.

Short but mighty pool pool cue
I bought this cue stick because I needed a short pool cue on occasion. I cannot believe how properly this stick feels in my hands and how well it shoots. It is balanced truly properly and weighs 19 oz. A good looking pool cue stick with Irish linen. Highly recommended.

Action jro8 52 inch junior pool cue
A fantastic pool cue stick for young beginner’s. Not to heavy and a good straight pool cue for the price point.

Exactly what we wanted in
In my experience, precisely what we wanted in a shorter cue stick (which are hard to find in this length). Nicely made and great tip.

Best Gift EVER
I love this place!! In my first order, they had made a mild mistake, fixed it quickly, and threw on a free soft carrying case due to their mistake. The construction of the stick is superb, and the engraving makes it personal. I gave this order to my granddaughter, who is 9 for Christmas; she absolutely loves it! Thank you, POOLDAWGS, for making my girls dream come true!!

Our “shorty” cue
Really pleased with this pool cue. Both weight and quality are precisely what I was looking for. We use this cue as a “shorty”, and it is significantly better than other cues we’ve purchased in the past.

They Have What You Crave
I am a virgin pool aspirant who purchased a pool table recently at the instigation of his Filipina wife who keeps an autographed picture of Efren Reyes near our bed. Unfortunately, the only space we have for the table is too small and necessitated the use of shorter than standard cues. PoolDawg supplied these and they suit our purpose perfectly. We also received a table cover, brush and a glove for my sweaty hand. Great place to shop for accurate and quick delivery.

Ole reliable
Not even a kid but i won my first big tournament with this stick (which was one of the bars house cues). Played some of the superior pool of my life with that cue so naturally i had to find it and get my hands on it. Been several years since i first bought it and I’m still playing with this ole reliable. Playing with a Kamui soft tip. Tried other friends expensive cues but nothing beats this one for me
