Description

The 17 oz Athena ATH46 is the lightest of the five weights made for this model. The forearm and butt sleeve show a faded grey and white background with dragonflies and green leaves, plus a faded white and grey metallic whimsy design. The black butt plate carries a silver Athena logo.

A black Irish linen wrap covers the grip. The shaft is hard rock maple with a 10 to 12 inch pro taper and a 1 inch fiber linen ferrule, and the tip is a 12.5mm vacuum sealed boar skin tip built from seven layers. It joins the butt through a piloted 5/16×18 pin. Around the joint sits a stainless steel collar with a black composite ring that holds a thin silver ring.

The weight is changeable through the weight bolt. An extension comes with the cue, but a case and joint protectors do not. Lighter cues tend to feel quicker through the stroke. Coverage comes from a limited one year manufacturer warranty, and the cue is made in China.
