Description

The 17 oz Athena ATH47 is the lightest of the five weights offered for this peacock design. The forearm and butt sleeve are birdseye maple with a peacock pattern, set off by a black Irish linen wrap and a black butt plate with a silver Athena logo.

It is built with a hard rock maple shaft, a 10 to 12 inch pro taper, a 12.5mm vacuum sealed boar skin tip made from seven layers, and a 1 inch fiber linen ferrule. The 5/16×18 joint is piloted, the collar is stainless steel with black and silver accents, and the bumper is an Athena plug with an extension insert.

The cue comes with an extension but no case and no joint protectors. Its weight can be changed through the weight bolt, and a limited one year manufacturer warranty applies. Lighter cues tend to feel quicker through the stroke.
