Description
The Balabushka GB01 is the most accessible entry into Quarter King’s GB series, priced around $820 without giving up the details that define the line. It pairs a 5/16×14 piloted joint with a 13mm classic wood shaft, a combination built around feel and consistency rather than exotic materials. A linen wrap in brown and tan covers the handle, giving the cue a warm, understated look that leans traditional rather than flashy. The Balabushka name traces back to George Balabushka, one of the most respected custom cue makers in the game’s history, and the GB series carries that legacy into a cue built for regular play rather than display. Players stepping up from a house cue will find the piloted joint keeps hits solid without extra fuss. The GB01 is in stock now and ready to ship.

Make pool cue
The cue was of good build quality. The fit and finish had no flaws. The balance was also better than expected. The shaft and fit to the butt were straight and true. I am properly pleased with the cue and look forward to playing with it for years to come.

Looks great, feels better
Birthday gift for my lovely wife. This stick is nice-looking, finish is outstanding and it feels great. The service at PoolDawg is exemplary. They adjusted the weight and still shipped in plenty of time for her day. As this was just shy of Christmas during a blizzard, I think they deserve extra points

I must admit, had the Balabushka for a month, or so, and my game is improving every time I play. Great cue, and excellent service from Pooldawg.

Balabushka GB1
I am overly thrilled with my balabushka pool stick. The only complaint that I have is that when my cue stick arrived the certificate of authenticity was torn and the torn piece was laying in the box. I had to take it together. Besides that, the pool cue shots fabulous. My dad use to own the original GB1. So I’m happy to be shooting with the same pool cue.

Pretty Cue
In my experience, have played with Schons for many years, and thought I’d try the Balabushka replica. Pleasant feel and balance. The tip that comes with it is too hard. Compares favorably with the newer Schons, though. And, it’s a very pretty cue if you are a traditionalist, like me.
