10 in stock

The Elite ELBJZ Break/Jump Cue is a Elite break, jump cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a Action Quick Release joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $239, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Where most of Elite’s break and jump cues mix two colors, the ELBJZ keeps things simple with a single tan finish over a wrapless shaft. It carries the same core spec as the family, a 29 inch AAA grade Canadian hard rock maple shaft at 13.00mm and the Action Quick Release joint for quick disassembly between racks. The one color approach makes it an easy match for any case or table setup, and the bare shaft means no wrap material to break in or replace down the line. In stock now at about $240, it is a straightforward choice for a player who just wants a dependable break cue without extra color contrast.

    Elite jump/break

Without a doubt, never owned a jump/break stick before and always used a bar cue to do so. The difference is unbelieveable; the stick ball simply jumps off the stick when breaking and jumping!

    Excellent cue

Excellent pool cue and decent value. First time I used it I made 3 balls on the break in a breaking contest. Won the contest and $95.00. Almost paid for the stick. Working on the jump. Haven’t used it to jump in a tournament yet. I would vouch for it.

    Fine break stick

    Good break stick

  15. Beth B. –

    Elite Break Pool cue

It’s quality for what it is. I used it this weekend at a competitive 9 ball tournament and was able to produce consistent nice breaks on different tables. It feels a little hinky at first but it really does play nicely.

  16. Steve M. –

    Break Stick

Pleased with purchase. Excellent intermediate break stick. Am impressed by the white diamond break tip I had installed.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Elite ELBJZ Break/Jump Cue use?

It uses a Action Quick Release joint. That means any Action Quick Release shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Action Quick Release before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Elite ELBJZ Break/Jump Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Elite ELBJZ Break/Jump Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Elite ELBJZ Break/Jump Cue built for?

It is set up as a break, jump cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Elite dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Elite dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
