Description
Blue stained maple laminates the forearm and butt sleeve of the KAT2502, each one set off by triple brass rings for contrast against the black Irish linen wrap. The Uni-Loc joint pairs a black collar with a stainless steel pin, so the two halves lock together the same way every time you break the cue down. A stainless steel butt plate etched with the Katana logo finishes the butt, and the bumper is threaded rubber, ready for an extension when you need it.
The KAT2502 carries a 29-inch carbon fiber shaft with a 7-12 pro taper and its own etched logo, and the payoff shows up when you’re playing english. Carbon flexes less than wood on contact, which cuts down deflection, so the cue ball goes closer to where you aimed instead of drifting off-line and forcing you to compensate. A 12.5mm layered tip tops the shaft, the cue weighs 1.4 lb, and a weight bolt lets you shift that balance. Joint protectors come with it.
