The Outlaw OLBK01 Break Cue is a Outlaw break cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 5/16X18 Piloted joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It lists at $269, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

The Outlaw OLBK01 is built as a break cue rather than a playing cue, meant to take the shot that opens the rack instead of handling the rest of the game. It shares its brown and tan finish and leather wrap with much of the Outlaw catalog, along with the same piloted 5/16×18 joint and 13mm classic wood shaft used across the brand. Keeping a dedicated break cue like this one in the case means your regular playing cue’s tip and ferrule are not taking the brunt of every break shot. It is currently out of stock at about $270.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Outlaw OLBK01 Break Cue use?

It uses a 5/16X18 Piloted joint. That means any 5/16X18 Piloted shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 Piloted before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Outlaw OLBK01 Break Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Outlaw OLBK01 Break Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Outlaw OLBK01 Break Cue built for?

It is set up as a break cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is leather wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Outlaw dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Outlaw dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.

Compatible Shafts

This cue uses a 5/16X18 Piloted joint, so these shafts thread straight onto it. Not sure? Send us the cue and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
