The Pechauer JP25R04 Pro Series Cue is a Pechauer playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It comes in 29" hard rock maple and 10-12in Pro Taper tip sizes with a Pechauer Speed joint joint. It is in stock at $450, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Finished in Black and Grey, the Pechauer JP25R04 is a wrapless entry in the Pro Series. The cue pairs a Pechauer Speed Joint with a 12.75mm Classic Wood shaft, a 29-inch hard rock maple forearm, and a 10-12in Pro Taper rather than a wrapped grip.

Players who dislike any texture change between forearm and grip tend to gravitate toward this wrapless setup over the linen-wrapped Pro Series cues. The joint stays a standard Speed Joint on this model, with the wrapless build serving as the main upgrade over the JP Series. It runs about $450.

This cue is offered in WBPEC, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Pechauer JP25R04 Pro Series Cue use?

It uses a Pechauer Speed joint joint. That means any Pechauer Speed joint shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Pechauer Speed joint before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Pechauer JP25R04 Pro Series Cue?

This cue ships with a 29" hard rock maple, 10-12in Pro Taper shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Pechauer JP25R04 Pro Series Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Pechauer JP25R04 Pro Series Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

Is Quarter King an authorized Pechauer dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Pechauer dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
