The Pechauer JPBRKEB Break Cue is a Pechauer break cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a Pechauer Speed Joint joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $351, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

The Pechauer JPBRKEB is a dedicated break cue finished in Black. It’s built on a Pechauer Speed Joint into a 13.00mm Classic Wood shaft, with a 29-inch solid hard rock maple build, a 9-12in pro taper, and a black collar with maple dashes, left wrapless.

The wider 13.00mm shaft diameter and stiffer taper are built to transfer more force into the rack without hunting for finesse, which is the point of a break-specific cue. Keeping a separate break cue also protects the joint on a primary playing cue from the repeated impact of a hard break. It runs about $350. A matching playing cue is easy to find among Pechauer cues.

    Break cue

I like this break cue, it gives a sturdy hit and has a nice balance in my hands.

  2. Alex R. –

    Gorgeous and effective.

This ebony break cue stick is beautiful. I consistently make balls on the break now, something I haven’t ever been able to do with the house cues. The tip it comes with is great. My league teammates are certainly delighted with it too. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in a break pool cue.

  3. Amy D. –

    no joke

This break stick is the truth.breaks stronger and makes more balls guaranteed.I put a samsara break tip and it takes a a few breaks to get used to it cause the weight is more towards the front but once you get used to it u will never go back I promise and if you don’t like it you must have mental issues and should just stick to losing and never break again.

  4. Tom H. –

    Best breaker out there!

Awesome cue. Every person I’ve let try this cue has been amazed. The rack explodes every time. I’m getting better spreads and dropping more balls with this cue at 50% power than I was with my Predator BK2 at full power! Completely effortless. The Black Diamond tip performs just as well as a Samsara and is still BCA legal. If you like to break and run on everyone try this cue stick. You won’t be disappointed.

  5. Amy P. –

    Pechauer

I bought this cue from PoolDawg as a pre-owned cue. I asked the PoolDawg guys to install a white diamond tip, and shot leagues with it last night for the first time; now I’m happy as a clam! I got effortless, solid, accurate breaks all night and saved a’bunch’a greenies at the same time. I have no complaints whatsoever.

  6. Chris E. –

    Break Cue stick

I have to say, i ordered a Pechauer break cue stick. I was impressed by the packaging which made sure the stick came as anticipated. Swift delivery time also.

Very easy to talk to and aim to please the client.

  8. Kate W. –

    Break cue, really like it.

Excellent cue, good solid hit every time.

  9. Bob A. –

    satisfied completely

    solid choice

  10. Sue F. –

    Great cue. 1st break stick

Great pool cue. 1st break cue & it delivers. I’ve never broke this well before. I’m 77 & weigh 125 so I don’t have a lot of omph behind it but this pool cue does what it is intended to do

This cue is offered in WBPEC, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Pechauer JPBRKEB Break Cue use?

It uses a Pechauer Speed Joint joint. That means any Pechauer Speed Joint shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Pechauer Speed Joint before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Pechauer JPBRKEB Break Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Pechauer JPBRKEB Break Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Pechauer JPBRKEB Break Cue built for?

It is set up as a break cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Pechauer dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Pechauer dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
