Description

On the Pechauer JP2520 the maple forearm carries blue pearl points and ivory-colored inlays, all framed in ebony-toned material, and the butt sleeve repeats the pattern. The grip section is blue-stained maple, so this cue has no linen or leather wrap. A white butt plate with the Pechauer logo and a dashed-ring collar finish the details.

It uses a 29-inch hard rock maple shaft with a 10-12 inch Pro Taper, a 12.75mm Pechauer Jade Medium tip, a 5/8 inch Juma ferrule and a Pechauer Speed Joint. Black rubber forms the bumper, and a wood grip with no wrap means there is no fabric to replace later.

The weight bolt (type WBPEC) is changeable, and Pechauer’s standard cue weight is 19 oz. Lifetime warranty and USA origin apply, while the extension, case and joint protectors are not included. Pechauer’s own model name for this cue is JP20-T.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke.
