The Pechauer JP25R12 Pro Series Cue is a Pechauer playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a classic wood shaft. It lists at $747, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Blue Juma gem accents define the Pechauer JP25R12. A carbon-stained figured maple forearm carries a blue Juma gem point and pearl inlays framed in simulated ebony, and the butt sleeve repeats that pattern. The collar is blue Juma, the butt plate is a blue Juma gem with the Pechauer logo, and there is no wrap.

The shaft is 29-inch hard rock maple with a 10-12 inch Pro Taper, finished with a 12.75mm Pechauer Jade Medium tip and a 5/8 inch Juma ferrule. It connects through a piloted Pechauer Speed Joint, and the bumper is black rubber.

Weight is changeable through the weight bolt (type WBPEC), starting from Pechauer’s 19 oz standard. A lifetime warranty applies and the cue is made in the USA. An extension, case and joint protectors are not included. Pechauer’s own model name for it is P12-R.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.

The Pechauer JP25R12 Pro Series Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.
