Start with the cues and spare shafts you take to the table. Case capacity gives the number of butts first and shafts second: a 2x4 holds two butts and four shafts. Check the individual case dimensions and pocket layout before choosing a size for your equipment.
The joint is what decides whether a shaft fits, and every cue in Lucasi Cases uses the Uni-Loc pin. That is the same Uni-Loc pin used across Bull Carbon, K2, Lucasi, Predator, Spartan and Summit, so shafts move between them — always confirm the exact pin before buying.
Case sizes are listed as butts × shafts — a "2×2" holds one full cue (2 butts, 2 shafts equivalent), a "3×5" holds more cues and shafts. Match it to how many cues you carry plus a spare shaft or two.
Hard cases give the most protection for travel and shipping. Soft cases are lighter and easier to carry to league night. Hybrid cases split the difference.
Most cases fit standard 58" cues that break down into a butt and shaft. Extra-long, jump/break, or three-piece cues may need a specific size — ask us if you're unsure.
