Description
Some players may feel that the blue stained maple butt of the Action Rings RNG04 pool cue will help them to focus more clearly on each important shot. The color blue can have a calming effect that may translate into better accuracy on the table. A black synthetic leather wrap provides a comfortable, non-slip grip so you can control the cue’s compact, solid hit. This is a well-crafted and affordable instrument that features a stainless steel collar and joint. Satisfaction is guaranteed with all Action cues.

Weight & Balance
This cue is offered in WBACT, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.
This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.

Questions about this cue
What joint does the Action RNG04 Ring Cue use?
It uses a 5/16X18 Piloted joint. That means any 5/16X18 Piloted shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 Piloted before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.
What shaft diameter is the Action RNG04 Ring Cue?
This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.
Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?
The Action RNG04 Ring Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.
What is the Action RNG04 Ring Cue built for?
It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.
What kind of grip does it have?
The grip is leather wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.
Is Quarter King an authorized Action dealer?
Yes. We are an authorized Action dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.
How fast does it ship, and can I return it?
Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.

For the cost hard to find any negatives
From my perspective, my two main sticks were stolen unforntunely, so in order to play I needed something quick but wanted to keep the investment for a new stick low, this was an absolute superb pick up, I added a 2oz bolt to bring it to 21oz. The shipment was much faster than i expected and the packing made me feel confident about the sticks not having any warping or dings. Wish i would have forked up for a tip upgrade, but it’s outstanding as is. 10/10 will purchase from pooldawg again.

Great cue
Bought this stick for my son for Christmas as a step up from his kid-sized pool cue. He absolutely loves the blue in the butt. I upgraded the tip to a Kamui Medium clear and it looks fantastic. He cannot wait to start practicing with it.
