Description

The Athena ATH47 in 20 oz is the second heaviest of the five weights. The design is a peacock pattern on birdseye maple, shown on the forearm and the butt sleeve, with a black Irish linen wrap for the handle.

Specifications include a hard rock maple shaft with a 10 to 12 inch pro taper, a 12.5mm seven-layer vacuum sealed boar skin tip and a 1 inch fiber linen ferrule. The 5/16×18 pin is piloted, and the collar is stainless steel with black and silver accents. At the butt, the black plate carries a silver Athena logo and the bumper is an Athena plug with an extension insert.

The cue’s weight is changeable via its weight bolt. Included are an extension and a limited one year manufacturer warranty. No case or joint protectors are included. Heavier cues like this one tend to feel steadier through contact.
