Description

The Cuetec AVID CT339 is a Surge series jump cue, short and light at 9.5 oz, with no wrap and a black collar and butt plate. Cuetec pairs a 15 inch Surge jump handle with a 29 inch shaft, so the cue is short enough to be raised steeply for jump shots.

The shaft is multi-layer glass composite bonded to kiln-dried maple, not carbon fiber, with an Air Light front end bored out more than 10 inches. A 14mm Power+ phenolic tip on a glass pad sits behind a 7mm Power+ phenolic ferrule, and the shaft alone weighs 4.5 oz.

Cuetec’s Surge Power Lift Taper shapes the shaft, and the joint is a 3/8×14 Cuetec joint (21.30mm). Joint protectors are included with the cue, there is no extension, and Cuetec’s limited warranty applies. A jump cue is a specialty tool that players use alongside a playing cue.
