The Griffin GR46 Cue is a Griffin playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 5/16X18 Piloted joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $287, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

The Griffin GR46 swaps in a black and green finish, giving it one of the more distinctive color combinations in Griffin’s catalog while keeping the same 13mm wood shaft, 5/16×18 piloted joint, and linen wrap found across the line. Green is not a common cue color, so this one stands out in a rack of mostly blue and black cues. Weight options are available since it is listed as a variable product. It is in stock and ships at about $290.

    Really happy with the stick

Quite happy with the pool cue stick it plays as well as much more expensive sticks that I have very sturdy hitting and a very quality tip really like the redline tip at is on it plus it’s a very reliable looking stick

  2. Sam P. –

    Very good cue stick

This pool cue is really nice, well balanced. The green is really pretty too. If you like some color this gives you color but yet the classic look. I did upgrade the tip. And the linen wrap is solid too. I can’t wait to shoot some pool with it. If your looking for an upgrade this is a fine option for the value.

    Wow

Wow. Top-notch pool cue ever. The glove and chalk are also superb. So much for buying items online. These work. Sunk 8 balls in a row!!! Not bad for an old coot🤣 Very pleased.

  10. Kate F. –

    Wonderful cue

Beautiful stick and functions terrific. Only bad thing I have to say is the annoying sticker that took time to take off it. Was the top-notch stick in the house and the engraving looked great too!

  11. Ann H. –

    Love my new Stick

I appreciate both of my sticks purchased recently. They are both Griffin brand. One is a 18oz and the other one is a 19oz. I had each engraved and liked how nicely they turned out. There are well made pool cues. Quite lovely inlays on each. From order to prompt turn around and delivery. I am pleased in every way. Thank you everyone in the process at PoolDawgs. 😊

    Birthday gift

I bought this stick as a birthday gift and had her name inscribed and it turned out beautifully. I scored major points with her on this purchase. She absolutely loves it!

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Griffin GR46 Cue use?

It uses a 5/16X18 Piloted joint. That means any 5/16X18 Piloted shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 Piloted before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Griffin GR46 Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Griffin GR46 Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Griffin GR46 Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is linen wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Griffin dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Griffin dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.

Compatible Shafts

This cue uses a 5/16X18 Piloted joint, so these shafts thread straight onto it. Not sure? Send us the cue and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
