Description

Natural maple and blue pearl set the tone on the Pechauer JP2507, a playing cue with no linen or leather wrap. The forearm is maple with floating points, the butt sleeve is maple with blue pearl inlays, and the grip section is blue-stained maple. A dashed-ring collar and a white butt plate with the Pechauer logo complete the look.

Pechauer builds it on a 29-inch hard rock maple shaft with a 10-12 inch Pro Taper. The tip is a 12.75mm Pechauer Jade Medium, the ferrule is 5/8 inch Juma, the joint is a Pechauer Speed Joint, and the bumper is black rubber.

Weight is changeable through the weight bolt (type WBPEC), and Pechauer’s standard for the model is 19 oz. It is supplied without an extension, case or joint protectors. It is made in the USA under a lifetime warranty that excludes wear items such as the tip, finish and wrap. Pechauer’s own model name for this cue is JP07-T.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.
