Description

Cocobolo, turquoise diamonds and simulated ivory framing give the Pechauer JP25R17 a rich, contrasting look. The forearm and the butt sleeve both carry simulated ebony and ivory points with turquoise diamonds, a white Juma collar sits at the joint, and the butt plate is white with the Pechauer logo. There is no wrap, and the handle is ebony-stained maple.

Underneath is a 29-inch hard rock maple shaft with a 10-12 inch Pro Taper, a 12.75mm Pechauer Jade Medium tip, a 5/8 inch Juma ferrule and a piloted Pechauer Speed Joint, with a black rubber bumper at the butt end.

Pechauer’s standard weight for this model is 19 oz, and the weight bolt (type WBPEC) can be adjusted. The cue is made in the USA with a lifetime warranty, and an extension, case and joint protectors are not included. Pechauer’s own model name for it is P17-R.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke.
