The Stealth STH11 Cue is a Stealth playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 5/16X18 joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $144, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

White is the base color of the Stealth STH11, a playing cue with white stained maple on the forearm and black tribal overlays. The butt sleeve is white stained maple with black and red tribal overlays, and the grip is a Dooley handle with black decorative rings instead of a wrap.

It runs a 29-inch Hardrock Maple shaft with a 10 to 12 inch pro taper, a 13mm Le Pro tip and a 1 inch fiber linen ferrule, joined by a 5/16 x 18 pin. With a pro taper the shaft stays close to one diameter for the first part of its length, so the cue feels consistent as your bridge hand moves back and forth along it.

The butt plate is black composite with the Stealth logo, and the bumper is black rubber. A weight bolt (WBACT) is fitted, and the cue comes in 18, 19, 20 and 21 oz. It does not include an extension, case or joint protectors. Made in China, it carries a limited manufacturer warranty.

I’m extremly satisfied with this pool stick. It took a few short games to get used to it; but once I did I was making shots other players were saying they owed me money for the shot. I know the cue doesn’ make the player this cue stick for me brought out my inner player I have been searching for. I play for the love of the game not for money. I enjoy challenge tables where I pay once and other players pay to play me to take the table. My last cue was stolen and its taken awhile to find its replacement this stick is. I love the end caps for storage. The cue is very properly manufactured. Pooldog delivered it precisely when they said they would. I have had a really great experience with pooldog and will order from them again in the future.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.

What joint does the Stealth STH11 Cue use?

It uses a 5/16X18 joint. That means any 5/16X18 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Stealth STH11 Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Stealth STH11 Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Stealth STH11 Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.
