Description

The Pechauer JP2510 pairs a carbon-stained maple forearm with pearl points framed in ebony-toned material, and the butt sleeve repeats the carbon stain with framed pearl inlays. The grip section is unstained maple, so there is no wrap, and a white butt plate with the Pechauer logo finishes the butt. The collar is a dashed ring.

Playing-cue basics are all here: a 29-inch hard rock maple shaft, a 10-12 inch Pro Taper, a 12.75mm Pechauer Jade Medium tip, a 5/8 inch Juma ferrule, a Pechauer Speed Joint and a black rubber bumper. Jade Medium refers to a medium-hardness tip, a common middle ground between soft and hard.

Pechauer’s standard weight for this model is 19 oz, and the changeable weight bolt is type WBPEC. The cue carries a lifetime warranty and is made in the USA. An extension, case and joint protectors are not included. Pechauer’s own model name for it is JP10-T.

Weight & Balance

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.
