What does Quarter King carry from Players?

We stock 71 Players items: 68 pool cues across eight design lines (Classic, Graphic, Artistic, Exotic, House, Shortie, Break/Jump and HXT) plus three standalone HXT low-deflection shafts sold separately.

What is the Players HXT shaft?

HXT is Players' own low-deflection shaft technology, built into an entire tier of cues and also sold as a standalone replacement shaft. AZBilliards forum members frequently recommend it as a budget-friendly step up from a standard maple shaft.

What is the warranty on a Players cue?

Players lists a lifetime guarantee against warpage on nearly every model we carry. Quarter King's standard 30-day return window also applies to any Players purchase, separate from that manufacturer coverage.

Is Players a good first cue?

AZBilliards forum members frequently recommend Players, especially the HXT line, as a first real cue for an APA or BCA league player moving up from a house cue, citing strong value for the price.

What joint do Players cues use?

Most Players cues use a threaded 5/16x18 joint. The Break/Jump Cues line uses a Turbo-Lock quick-connect joint instead, built for a player who needs to swap shafts quickly.

Players Cues & Shafts

Players is a value-priced pool cue brand at Quarter King Billiards, with 71 items in our current range: 68 two-piece and one-piece playing cues plus three standalone HXT replacement shafts. The brand sits inside the Escalade Sports billiards group, built around 100% North American Grade A hard rock maple and a standard 5/16x18 joint on most models. Pricing runs from about $50 for a one-piece house cue up to about $400 for a top HXT low-deflection model, part of why Players shows up so often as a first real cue for an APA or BCA league player. This page covers everything we carry under the Players name, cues and shafts both.
