Description
Move up the GB series price ladder and you land on the GB05, a black and tan cue priced around $1630. It shares the family’s 5/16×14 piloted joint and 13mm classic wood shaft, so the hit and feel stay consistent across the lineup, with the linen wrap doing the work of keeping grip steady through a long session. The black and tan color pairing is one of the more common combinations in the GB series, favored by players who want the Balabushka name without a loud finish. That heritage runs back to George Balabushka, whose custom cues remain some of the most collected in pool history, and the GB05 is built to be played rather than shelved. It is currently in stock at Quarter King Billiards.

Nice-looking Cue
First of all I want to start of by saying this is a beautiful stick and came with a certificate of authenticity which I didnt see mentioned on the website. Maybe I over looked it. Secondly if you are expecting this to be a ”magic cue” and never miss a shot you will be disappointed. However this stick is fantastic. I have noticed reduced vbration increased accuracy more control of the stick ball and shots in general and even when putting extreme english on the stick ball it is almost impossible to miscue. I highly vouch for this cue. It is not insanely expensive it is beautiful and as a playing pool cue I think it is fantastic.

Spot on Balabushka Cue stick
The Balabushka pool cue is not only gorgeous but shoots amazing, has a good feel and make me want to shoot as much as I can. People I have shot pool against were in venous.

This stick is every bit
This cue stick is every bit as solid as anything on the market! It has a traditional hard rock maple shaft & shoots very nicely with predictable deflection. For a reproduction the craftsmanship is top shelf! I went with a Kamui clear medium tip upgrade but I’m sure the standard tip will work extremely effectively. You won’t be disappointed with this cue!
