Description

In a lagoon finish with a wrapped grip, the Cuetec CT121W is a Cynergy X playing cue that pairs a lagoon carbon fiber composite forearm with a perforated ultra-thin poly-wrap. The butt sleeve shows the Cuetec X signature, and the body has no wood, with a triplex carbon fiber and alloy Matrix butt plate and collar.

A lagoon pigmented Clear-Tec X epoxy finish covers a 12-layer carbon fiber body filled with high-density closed-cell X-foam. Weight is 19 oz as standard and adjustable in 0.25 oz increments, and the Acueweight Generation II system uses spacers to move the balance point.

Two shaft options are available, 11.8mm and 12.5mm. Both are 29 inch Cynergy carbon composite shafts with a thin white sighting ferrule and a soft laminated Tiger Sniper tip, and the joint is a 3/8×14 Cuetec joint (21.30mm). A black rubber bumper and joint protectors are included, an extension is not, and a limited warranty applies. A slimmer shaft leaves more room to place the tip, while a larger one is generally easier to adapt to.

This cue is offered in Cuetec Acueweight Gen II, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.
