The Pechauer JP2508 JP Series Cue is a Pechauer playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $423, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Purple pearl points stand out on the maple forearm of the Pechauer JP2508, each one set in an ebony-toned frame. The grip section is purple-stained maple, so this cue has no linen or leather wrap, and the butt plate is black with the Pechauer logo. A dashed-ring collar marks the joint.

The build is a 29-inch hard rock maple shaft with a 10-12 inch Pro Taper, a 12.75mm Pechauer Jade Medium tip, a 5/8 inch Juma ferrule and a Pechauer Speed Joint. The bumper is black rubber.

Pechauer’s standard weight for this model is 19 oz, and the weight bolt (type WBPEC) can be changed. It is made in the USA with a lifetime warranty. The cue comes without an extension, case or joint protectors. Pechauer’s own model name for it is JP08-T.

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The Pechauer JP2508 JP Series Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Pechauer JP2508 JP Series Cue built for?
