Description

The Pechauer JP2522 keeps things simple: a Black JP Series playing cue. Pechauer fits it with a Speed Joint, a 12.75mm Classic Wood shaft, and a linen wrap grip.

Pechauer has built a name among American cue makers on tight joint tolerances, and the Speed Joint here reflects that same attention to fit and finish. Compared to Pechauer’s Pro Series, the JP Series trades the piloted joint for a simpler, more affordable Speed Joint. Pechauer’s JP Series has stayed a fairly consistent lineup year over year, with color and wrap being the main points of variation. It runs about $620.

Questions about this cue

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Pechauer JP2522 JP Series Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Pechauer JP2522 JP Series Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

Is Quarter King an authorized Pechauer dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Pechauer dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay. Because this one is over $600, a 10% restocking fee applies to the return.
