The Pechauer JP2514 JP Series Cue is a Pechauer playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $495, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

The Pechauer JP2514 uses unstained maple as a backdrop for purple pearl and ivory-colored points on the forearm, matched by purple pearl and ivory-colored inlays in the butt sleeve. The grip section is purple-stained maple, so there is no linen or leather wrap, and a white butt plate with the Pechauer logo finishes the butt. A dashed-ring collar rounds out the details.

Shaft details: 29-inch hard rock maple, a 10-12 inch Pro Taper, and a 12.75mm Pechauer Jade Medium tip behind a 5/8 inch Juma ferrule. The Pechauer Speed Joint joins it to the butt, which ends in a black rubber bumper.

The standard weight from Pechauer is 19 oz, and the weight bolt (type WBPEC) is changeable. Lifetime warranty, made in the USA. No extension, case or joint protectors are included. Pechauer’s own model name for this cue is JP14-T.

This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The Pechauer JP2514 JP Series Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Pechauer JP2514 JP Series Cue built for?
